Why a renovation?
In 2023, we celebrated 100 years of God's faithfulness to our church family. From our humble beginnings in a small chapel on Avenue B, God has guided us to our current home on Prue Road, where we have grown together for over thirty years.
Our current campus was constructed in 1994 with our first three buildings and in 2015, we added a fourth as our congregation continued to grow. In 2022, we renovated our Worship Center. Now, looking to the future, we sense God prompting us to expand our capacity once again. God has richly blessed our church family with this land and these facilities. As good stewards of His blessings, we hope to maintain, improve, and use them for His kingdom.
What is being renovated?
The FCA Renovation focuses on three areas of our campus: the Fellowship Hall, the Courtyard, and our Adult Building. Our hope is to see these spaces updated to be more welcoming, more functional, and more full of ministry. The updated areas will be used for meals and fellowship, Bible studies and Sunday school classes, safe play areas for our children, and welcoming spaces for every guest, family member and friend to feel at home.
What are our next steps?
We are currently working to finalize our plans and costs with a tentative estimated budget of $250,000. This figure will be updated as our vision becomes more established and initial estimates are secured.
